Skamp perform at Louise & Rob's Wedding, Bowden Hall Hotel, Gloucestershire

Arrived at Bowden Hall in good time in the afternoon to setup. A smaller space for us to fit into than we're used to but against all odds we squeezed in close. Don't Stop Believing by Journey was the first dance - it went down well and I'm sure we'll keep this one in the set. The wedding goers were up for a party and we rocked until 1am. It was a fun, tiring, hot, sweaty night. Many thanks to Louise and Rob and the hotel for looking after us. All the best guys.

Gloucestershire Party Band Skamp, Emily & Bryan, Wedding, Leominster

What a beautiful day it was, probably the hottest day of the year so far. I volunteered to drive the 'Skamp Van' to the gig. My co-pilot was Steve (Keys). We had no air-con so it took a while to cool down using the old fashioned open windows trick. The venue was lovely. A converted farm with a marquee in the back garden. We were treated to a slap-up supper + wine, in the parents dining room - lovely. All the party goers danced all night and gave us four encores - brilliant. Many thanks to Duncan and Alex (parents) who made us very welcome and good luck to Emily and Bryan.

Gloucestershire Party Band Skamp, Help the Heroes Charity, Gloucester Rugby Club

Well what a great night was had by all. It was a late start for Gloucestershire function band Skamp. Eleven pm, so it was an extra long set until after midnight. Many thanks for Richard for organising the event and singing a number with us, namely 'Addicted to Love' by Robert Palmer. What was unusual was that the party goers were probably 6 inches from Rob (vocals) face - a little too close perhaps? Oh, bye the way, the new drums sound great.
