Gloucestershire Party Band Skamp, Emily & Bryan, Wedding, Leominster

What a beautiful day it was, probably the hottest day of the year so far. I volunteered to drive the 'Skamp Van' to the gig. My co-pilot was Steve (Keys). We had no air-con so it took a while to cool down using the old fashioned open windows trick. The venue was lovely. A converted farm with a marquee in the back garden. We were treated to a slap-up supper + wine, in the parents dining room - lovely. All the party goers danced all night and gave us four encores - brilliant. Many thanks to Duncan and Alex (parents) who made us very welcome and good luck to Emily and Bryan.

Hi guys (and gal!), What a fantastic night! You may have noticed that nobody really left the dance floor between numbers when you were playing! I think I only sat out one number through sheer exhaustion.....so, thanks so much, the music was great and everybody said how much they enjoyed the band. Also thanks for doing Brown Eyed Girl twice (special request for Bryan's mum), although she actually slept through the second rendition! But it is my favourite too so that's ok. Emily and Bryan thought you were great and had a fabulous day!
Hope to see you again, although no more weddings planned at present, you never know though, perhaps we could persuade somebody.
Many thanks and best wishes to all

  2. Hi, now that we are back from our honeymoon, we wanted to thank you for the fantastic music at our wedding. You really were a smash hit with everyone; we have never seen so much dancing at a wedding! Everyone commented on how great you were and you really did contribute to making the day perfect. And thanks for learning Shiny Happy People for us!
    Thank you so much,
    Bryan & Emily
